We were looking for something different and not the same ol' itinerary, so my family stayed aboard Far Niente for 2 days and had a wonderful time. She is a beautiful boat. We had picture perfect weather, which made our trip even better! My kids are 11 and 9 and had a blast exploring the marine life around the docks and going kayaking. Derek and Judi are terrific hosts and made us feel very much at home and like old friends. We sailed all day on one of our days - everyone got a chance to take the helm, and we went sightseeing around Seattle on the other days, always coming back just to relax on the boat to enjoy some wine and watch all of the marina activity. We will definitely make a sail on Far Niente part of any Seattle trip. Thank you!

What a great time we've had this summer out with Derek for the Sailing Series! Excellent host, laid back atmosphere and very accommodating. I've had numerous comments from our clients who have attend with us and they cannot wait to get back out on the water. Thanks Derek to you and all those who helped each week, we truly appreciated EVERYTHING!

It goes without saying that on a warm, sunny day in July sailing around Elliott Bay and Bainbridge Island will be a good time - the beauty of the Seattle skyline, the mountains, and the water. Add to this the conversation, food, and drink aboard the Far Niente and you've got a really excellent experience.

Derek is an excellent captain. We certainly enjoyed our excursion to Blake Island and its lovely environs. What a history! Sailing around Puget Sound, however too short, proved to be a wonderful memory...
